Pro Bono Work

The sixth amendment of The United States constitution guarantees free legal representation for criminal defendants when they cannot afford a lawyer of their own. However not everyone is entitled to free legal counsel. In fact, the sixth amendment does not provide free legal representation for civil cases. Although an individual’s life and freedom might not be at stake during a civil matter, getting the right legal representation is still crucially important. If you cannot afford for a lawyer to represent you in court or during a negotiation, there is still another option: PRO BONO legal representation. Our attorneys represent clients free of charge when they choose to undertake pro bono cases. Over the past three years, the attorneys of the Fah Law Group have provided over 800 hours of pro bono legal representation in the Following areas of law:

  • Immigration
  • Family law
  • Criminal cases
  • Veteran law
  • Landlord tenant disputes
